After breakfast, fly by charter air to Iguazu Falls, where you are met and privately transferred to your hotel. Day 3 SOUTH PANTANAL
Today, you may wish to rise early and explore the falls at your leisure, when fewer visitors are on site. After breakfast, visit the Birds Park, an internationally recognized rescue and conservation center for birds, located in the middle of the verdant Atlantic Rainforest. Then, board a private charter flight to South Pantanal, landing at Caiman Ecological Refuge, a pioneering ecotourism retreat situated on a 130,000-acre ranch in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. Upon arrival, have lunch and partake of your lodge’s many activities before relaxing with a sundowner. Located in the geographic center of South America, the Pantanal is the largest wetland in the world and provides habitat for the largest concentration of wildlife in the Americas. Day 4 SOUTH PANTANAL
Today, take part in a range of included activities available at your lodge, such as a guided wildlife safari by 4x4 vehicle, in which you search for capybara, giant otter, coati, black howler monkey and other species across the fascinating landscapes of the Pantanal. You may opt for a night safari as well to view nocturnal species such as the ocelot, giant anteater and jaguar. Other choices include canoeing the nearby bay at sunset, hiking the area’s plentiful trails and delving into the Pantanal way of life on visits to important places in the community. Alternatively, focus your day solely upon seeking the region’s apex predator, the jaguar, alongside the local Jaguar Habituation Team. Increase your chances of spotting the powerful cat in the wild, tracking it on foot and checking camera traps with the team. Then, set out at sunset or just after dinner in search of jaguar, which are most active during evening hours.

Ever bustling and bordering on the chaotic, the market sells a myriad of products and produce, from fruits and vegetables to spare parts for domestic appliances, sacred herbs and religious artifacts, as well as the ingredients for Bahia cuisine’s signature dish, the moqueca. Continue to the home of a local chef to start a hands-on cooking experience. Learn how to properly season Bahian cuisine, combining ingredients such as coriander leaf, coconut and Dende palm oil from Africa. After lunch, return to the hotel for some time at leisure.
