Day 1 Turin
After arriving in Turin by train, you will have a private transfer to your hotel; then spend the afternoon exploring this capital of Piedmont. The House of Savoy ruled Piedmont for several hundred years. After World War II, Savoy’s King Victor Emmanuel became King of Italy. Since Piedmont is perhaps the finest food and wine region of Italy, you will find plenty of opportunities to sample the wares of the delicatessens, cafés and gelato stands that dot Turin’s streets. Vermouth was invented here, so have a martini to celebrate!

Day 2 Turin
Today is an exciting day! Meet your guide in the hotel lobby for a private 3-hour Sweets Walking Tour in Turin. A unique learning experience, topped with hot chocolate, coffee and chocolate tastings. Start in Piazza Carlo Felice, and venture out into this elegant city while admiring its facades, shops and distinct porches. Turin is a fantastic destination for someone looking for the classic Italian vibe of a major city, without having to compromise any of its authenticity. Day 3 Turin, Langhe
Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby for a private three-hour tour of Turin. The tour aims to reveal an unusual and sometimes forgotten aspect of this city, taking you through Piazza Carlo Felice, Piazza San Carlo and Piazza Carignano until Piazza Castello. The row of arcades with their gentle activities, shop facades and products witness a past full of elegance and good taste that still resists to the change of times. Chocolate, coffee shops and historical buildings are the proof of the luxury of past times when the coffee was above all a social ritual of the growing middle class society in the 20th century. Three different tasting experiences will accompany you along the itinerary. In the afternoon, you’ll have a private transfer to your hotel in Langhe, the center for production of Barolo, Barbaresco and other famous wines.

Day 4 Langhe
This morning after breakfast, you will have a tour to the famous wine and truffle region around castles and vineyards, starting from Alba, the so called “Capital” of Langhe hills with its medieval towers, liberty palaces, elegant boutiques and gourmet restaurants. Visit Barolo, the town from which the “King of Wines and Wine of Kings” gets its name. The tour will continue with a visit to a traditional wine cellar with a tasting of three different wines, accompanied by cheese and salami. In the afternoon you will proceed to the old town of La Morra and its Belvedere Square. Then onto Serralunga d’Alba, a small village owing its name to its lucky position and composed of a small group of houses that span the 14th century castle and draw, with their medieval walls, the shape of a heart.
