April

Pros: Everything included in price-drinks and tips

Cons: More expensive than other lines

Recommended: Yes

Everyone treated us so well.. very friendly and taking care of our every need, The food was delicious, the excursions well organized and very enjoyable, The staterooms were good sized and very comfortable. I loved having only 85 people on the boat. Never felt crowded. Having tips and drinks included was a real plus!

Best vacation ever!

May

Pros: Tauk's attention to every detail; The crew made it a "happy ship;" The entertainment was superb and plentiful; We met wonderful fellow passengers; The ship is gorgeous and our cabin was spectacular.

Cons: Next time don't do the Faber Castell trip in Nurnburg, but take us to the Dokument Centrum.

Recommended: Yes

Cruise Directors Nick Coward and Jen are as good as it gets. We were very surprised and pleased with all but one of the entertainment groups that joined the ship for a brief demonstration (glass blowing)/ Lecture (about the Main-Danube Canal) as well as the musical groups. Just one duo (guitar/singer) was below excellent. On-board entertainment by Rui was just wonderful--what a spirit and he made everything fun. The Vienna special dinner and entertainment was superb: just WOW. The servers in the restaurant and bar were helpful and upbeat. Our room steward was a gem. The Captain's tour of the bridge was a very nice plus.

Tauck really takes care of every detail. This is our 2nd Tauck river cruise and I would highly recommend this company for your vacation. The tours off of the ship are always well organized and very informational. The staff is top notch. Food on board the ship is wonderful, as they have a very large variety for all likes and dislikes. The ship is always clean and up to date. Our room was extremely comfortable.

It's All In There

July

Pros: Everything is already taken care of so just show up and enjoy

Cons: Cannot think of one except it had to end after two weeks

Recommended: Yes

Tauck takes care of everything and they do it so well. We felt so pampered and cared for throughout our two week cruise. Fabulous food. Talented Local entertainment. Interesting talks about history and culture and of course all of the amazing scenery to photograph. The cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam is a once in a lifetime experience and Tauck was the right choice to make that happen in the most memorable way. Thanks.

Budapest to Amsterdam

July

Pros: Itinerary, Food, Crew, Tauck Staff,Ship Facilities

Cons: None really

Recommended: Yes

While Tauck is not the least expensive alternative, it was a terrific value with literally everything included. Having three on shore tour staff in addition to excellent local tour guides provided an unmatched on shore experience. And the food on board was absolutely the best yet.

Tauck river cruise - Budapest to Amsterdam

August

Pros: Onboard and tour personnel, food, shipboard presentations, food, courtesy, professionalism, food

Cons: Need better balance of TV news.

Recommended: Yes

Our first river cruise and, while expecting a great experience compared to ocean cruising, we got even more than that. Every aspect was first-class, from the breakfast menu and preparation to the ease of getting to and from the ship. Everyone on board and all of our guides were knowledgeable and some of the guides were downright hilarious. The locations were steeped in history and colorful; the sailing was smooth and delightfully picturesque, and all of the suggestions regarding how to spend our free time were well considered and provided pleasant adventures. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cruise and this organization to all and sundry.
