When two legendary families of Italian hospitality come together, it’s the beginning of a beautiful story. Our new beachside locale Giacomo al Lago is the perfect marriage between the fabled fish dishes of Giacomo Milano and the views of the lake’s ever-changing scenes from Grand Hotel Tremezzo. At mid-day, raw fish is the star of the menu, along with a medley of classic favorites – perfect for a light lunch by the pool. And after the sun sets, the moon mingles with our twinkling lights on the water and Giacomo al Lago delights our guests with the maestro’s signature creations paired with a carefully curated list of fine wines.
The who’s who and who’s new of Milan have flocked to Giacomo Milano for iconic seafood and fish dishes for more than sixty years. Now led by the third generation of this culinary dynasty, the focus is still on what founder Giacomo Bulleri called “food that feels like family”: simple, yet sophisticated dishes that honor Italian culinary tradition and avail of only the freshest of ingredients. The legend continues, at Giacomo al Lago…
L'Escale Trattoria & Wine Bar it’s a restaurant with a difference, local dishes with a twist and a selection of the finest Italian wines are served in the relaxed surroundings of a stunning wine cellar. In summer supper is served on the lakeside terrace, while in the cooler autumn evenings we move indoors to the cantina, carved into the rock with bare brick walls and wine casks for tables, with more than 400 fine labels selected from every region.
For a gourmet 'panoramic' experience... The finest and tastiest examples of Italian cuisine, reinterpreted by Maestro Gualtiero Marchesi in collaboration with our Chef Osvaldo Presazzi, served on the loveliest terrace on the whole of Lake Como. The lake takes center stage on and off the plate, in the food and in the view. The menu changes with the seasons to take advantage of local produce and fresh water fish, traditional dishes enlivened with a touch of creativity. At sunset the rose tinted Grigna peaks and the twinkling lights of Bellagio offer an unparalleled spectacle. On cooler days and in the evenings La Terrazza turns into a cozy conservatory enclosed by huge picture windows so you will never miss the extra enjoyment of the panorama. And in the morning breakfast is served as the sun rises over Bellagio and a thousand shades of blue dance and dazzle on the water.
The classic, irresistible charm of a luxury hotel bar: a meeting place, luring Guests who want to chat or read or just while away a lazy day. And the scene of memorable encounters. A discreetly chic atmosphere with a stunning lakeside terrace. Anytime is a good time, indeed unrepeatable… By day the “T Bar” offers a light lunch and a limited menu of the Chef's choicest dishes. Sunset, when the Grigne turn pink and Bellagio begins to light up, is the ideal moment to try a T Cocktail – our barman loves to invent new and surprising concoctions each day. After supper, enjoy a drink in the moonlight, gazing at the lake, by candlelight…
T Pizza is much, much more than a simple snack bar. A distinctive eating place located by the Flowers Pool in the midst of the gardens. Open each day for fantastic grills and a range of pizzas cooked on a wood fire. Every Monday in summer (when L’Escale is closed) T Pizza stays open in the evening to offer Guests an exciting Pizza Party - a candlelit poolside supper with a special menu including absolutely everything. Definitely not to be missed: since we created the Pizza Party, Monday is everyone's favorite night of the week!
